Sizing Information and Body Measurements

Information on Sizes

We maintain stock of sizes one, three and five and these are ready to purchase immediately from their respective product pages. We do this because generally there is minimal differences in measurements in clothing up to size five. As an example, a size three shirt is only 5cm larger around the chest than a size one and a size five is only 6cm bigger than a three.

To counter this, we offer a made to order service for all ages and sizes, including adults, and these usually have a turnaround time of 10 business days for children’s items and 15 days for adult’s items, however this may be longer depending on existing orders – we will confirm with you before your custom order is accepted. Please contact us for made to order enquiries.

Measuring Your Child

Generally we recommend that you order your items based off the measurements of your child rather than the size they wear in other clothing – this is because sizes often vary brand to brand and a size three in one brand may be a five in another brand.

To measure your child, use a soft tape measure or a length of cord or similar. In a pinch, you can measure one of their existing pieces of clothing, however this is less accurate.

Chest

Wrap a measuring tape around your child’s chest, just under the arms at the widest point is best. Leave a little room for extra comfort.

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline which is just above the hips, covering the bellybutton. Hold the tape lightly loose for a comfortable fit.
